About Media Matters SF

Media Matters SF, LLC is a full service media planning and buying agency. Founded in 2005 by Josy Amann and Taji Zaminasli, Media Matters SF is located in San Francisco. One day we plan to grow into a Multi-National fortune 500 company, with offices from Dubai to Mumbai. Imagine "Media Matters Tokyo"... its gotta nice ring to it don't you think? For now however, we are a small, women-owned operation and are honored to be a certified Green Business of San Francisco.

We develop plans across all media—Online, TV, Radio, Print, Outdoor, Social, Mobile, Email, Direct Mail, and Search. We handle all aspects of media, from beginning to end—research, planning, negotiating, insertion orders, billing, tracking, and optimization. We work with BtoB and BtoC campaigns—direct response and brand campaigns. We pride ourselves on our insane negotiation skills, relationships with our clients and vendors, efficiency (we are faster than big agencies!), and honesty (all of our fees are upfront—no hidden “billable hours”). Our clients tell us they appreciate the customer service and the level of expertise they receive. That is because everyone who works at Media Matters SF, has 10 years+ experience. We have Broadcast, Online, Search, Outdoor, and Print experts that are all ready and waiting to serve our clients.

Day to day—you will deal with the founders of the company. We promise—you are not going to be handed off to a junior planner, like the big agencies do! We know—because Taji and Josy come from large agencies such as McCann-Erickson, Carat NA, Lowe Lintas, Y&R, and Lot21.
